Victor has been working like crazy for us. We got Kai's medical in one day because the nurse was very nice to us. Victor went to the court, though to check out the status there. We need a court date ASAP. I guess it usually take about 1 month to get a court date once all the papers are in. He will have all our papers hopefully tomorrow and will go to the court then. He was told today that the local judge is a very old woman who does everything by the letter of the law. If we are lucky, we may get a court date in 2 weeks. That is not what we want. We want this date as quickly as possible because we need to wait 10 days after this date to begin to obtain the new birth certificate and passport before we can come home. 2 weeks plus 10 days, plus the the week it takes to get a passport.... all adding up. Please pray!!! Not only do we want to come home, we want Victor to see the hand of God move on our behalf. He is living our testamony and I think it is having an affect on him. I also want all of you to see God come through and do miracles. This is our Kairos time. God, have your way!

ReplyDeletePraying for a miracle right along with you. The head judge is actually very nice but she is rather old and crotchety. Her staff does not take bribes(or didn't when we were there)and she will probably not smile at all. Inside though she is very compassionate. She may remember us because we have hand carried a post placement report on the boys for her each year. She cried at the very end of our time with her but quickly wiped the tears away as she headed out of the room.
